$Silver and Metals Talk
Prices at 5:00am were-GOLD 1,147.80 Silver 18.69 Copper 319.00<a 14month high` Silver can it cross that $19 mark? Yes, the poor man’s gold which has been moving along as gold continues to break new records (overbought?). Is silver going to really break out is the ongoing question? Lengthy Research has been provided on this site by StockLobster, but lets take a look at a few new opinions and charts hitting very recently. Do keep in mind, its always better to hold the physical silver, as opposed to “paper”, but there are several ways to play the moves with caution, and by taking profits OFTEN along the way as metals markets make very quick turns. In addition, copper is usually a much better long term play~~Silver Wheaton has quite the chart since last year, and has made a major move even with dips, there are a few others to consider as even HL seems to be making a comeback toward the company it once was, (as you fight the shorts and or dilution so common among miners)…Always do good DD
Also, keep in mind the CFTC could further their changes on position limits as has been in discussion this year:

==>”Here’s a daily chart of the silver ETF (ticker: SLV). This ETF doesn’t hold the silver it claims to and is believed fraudulent, but is being used for charting purposes because it can show volume. Silver bulls are advised to hold physical bullion as their core holding. I am not saying this ETF can’t be used for short-term trading, but paper is paper and metal in your possession is metal in your possession. Anyhoo, here’s a one year daily candlestick chart of SLV:”

Thoughts to remember==>”But looming over both the silver and gold market is the CFTC’s decision on position limits. Will they or won’t they impose new limits in silver… and enforce the current limits in gold? Or will they close the Comex? Or do nothing? Commissioner Chilton of the CFTC says that something on position limits will be announced in early December. So we wait.”– From Ed Steer’s Gold & Silver Daily”
The GDX has been quite the play lately, especially if you play the options~Also now there is the GDXJ but has no options at this time~
