Once again, it looks like Democrat vs Republican`
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is quoted: “The most important thing for me is that you know, they pay the ultimate price for what they did to us on 9/11.”
Former New York City Mayor — and GOP presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani is quoted as said on Fox: “We’re going to go back to the pre-9/11 approach that we had in 1993, trying it as a civilian matter, which turned out to be a terrible mistake,” Giuliani said. “They are repeating the mistake of history.”
Per USA Today from over at Face the Nation==>Rep. Peter Hoekstra, R-Mich., top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, fears a “circus of a trial” that will rip open old wounds -while-Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said the trial will send a message to the world that “the United States acts out of strength, not out of fear.”
Mayor Michael Bloomberg who took office in 2002 and won a third term earlier this month is quoted: “I support the Obama Administration’s decision to prosecute 9/11 terrorists here,” Bloomberg said. “It is fitting that 9/11 suspects face justice near the World Trade Center site where so many New Yorkers were murdered. see
Rep. Mark Kirk, R-Ill., who is running for the Senate, and circulating a letter is quoted: “If your Administration brings Al Qaeda terrorists to Illinois, our state and the Chicago Metropolitan Area will become ground zero for Jihadist terrorist plots, recruitment and radicalization,” Kirk writes. “Furthermore, since Thomson is located in the Northern District of Illinois, any civilian prosecution of Al Qaeda terrorists would occur in Rockford or downtown Chicago. As home to Americas tallest building, we should not invite Al Qaeda to make Illinois its number one target.”

Perry is quoted: “I am not bashful to get up and say ‘I believe in the tenth amendment,’” Perry declared. “I really don’t care whether it’s a Democrat or a Republican governor, but I hope they will stand up and say, ‘Washington, we don’t want you mandating how to run our states.’ This plan that they are putting before us will devastate this country and bankrupt our state.”
