President Obama is to speak and deliver his message in Prime Time to Congress on Health Care Reform in an address on Wednesday night. The signals suggest he is to be more forthright and provide a better understanding of his vision on the reform, “may speak” about his priorities, and perhaps add details which would add grit to this ongoing debate. This comes after the summer recess of Congress with all the heated debates and Town Hall meetings across the country, and one day after Congress lawmakers return from their August recess.
Today, he rolled up his sleeves, and spoke as if on the campaign trail in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Labor Day picnic of the AFL-CIO`Full speech and video’s available at
No doubt this is a very complicated issue, and touches each and every American and business in one form or another. But, no matter if you sit on the left or the right, Dem/Republican or Independent side, most folks have many a question as this issue has been “steam pressed” with wrinkles from misunderstood generalities that create worry and deep concern across this great country. While true, “change and reform” is needed in the healthcare industry-Someone or more like “Many of the Masses” are going to lose. The cliche’ of NO pain NO gain, becomes a given statement that fits, which cannot be overlooked. Middle Class America is tired, overworked or unemployed, taxed more then most can absorb, business itself is struggling to survive, and the financials of the government are more like a tear jerker slow death movie or a horror flick. Hospitals, Immediate Care centers, Physicians, Private Insurance, Medicare and Medicaid, the employed or unemployed, the destitute and homeless, children and adults, young and old, incompetent, mentally ill or handicapped, there is NO ONE, to not be touched by this issue. Therefore, how can we not be concerned, confused, bothered, bewildered, and or pissed off by what is being spun and pitched at our every turn without a finished product? Let’s THINK about it~
