DISNEYLAND, Anaheim CA (April 29, 2009) “The Big Bad Wolf”, beloved Disneyland icon, today assured fans he is not exhibiting any flu-like symptoms after a bachelor party in Baja  two weeks ago, and will continue to huff and puff per his contract. Nevertheless a  park spokesman acknowledged that the “3 Pigs Attraction” may be closed within  days as media induced panic about ’swine flu” continues to spread faster than the virus itself.

In a related move, per an unamed source, Disneyland management temporarily removed a Mexican doll from the “Small World” exhibit, pending quarantine results. The change, however, should not endanger the exhibit’s theme song’s status as one of the most annoying” songs ever written.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the nation, more people have died from eating peanuts or bee stings than from swine flu. Zero have died from “swan flu”, a mysterious ailment whose only appearance seems to be on the google search engine. Nevertheless sales of  hand sanitizer, useless face masks and duct tape have soared, helping keep national attention off rising joblessness and major banks failing stress tests.
